Bertha Dulemba
Bertha H. Dulemba, 90, of Linden died Jan. 27 in the Raritan Bay
Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born in Elizabeth, Miss Dulemba moved
to Linden in 1965. She worked in the maintenance department of the
Town & Campus Catering Facility, Elizabeth, for nine years
until she retired in 1985. Prior to that, Miss Dulemba was a
supervisor at Simmons Manufacturing Co., Elizabeth, where she
worked from 1942 to 1974. She was a member of the senior Citizens
Club and the Immaculate Heart of Mary Society, both at St. Hedwig’s
Church, Elizabeth. Miss Dulemba also was a member of the Polish
Women’s Alliance and the Polish National Alliance of Chicago. The
Kowalski Funeral Home, Linden, handled the arrangements.
Jimena Ingelmo
Jimena Ingelmo, 91, of Linden died Jan. 26 in the Cranford Health
and Extended Care. Born in Cuba, Mrs. Ingelmo came to the United
States and lived in Newark and Elizabeth before moving to Linden in
1997. Surviving are a son, Jose; two sisters, Rosa Ingelmo and
Nila; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The
Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, Linden, handled the arrangements.
Carrie Rouse
Carrie Slocumb Rouse of Linden died Jan. 24 in Trinitas Regional
Medical Center, Elizabeth. Born in Duplin County, N.C., Mrs. Rouse
lived in Elizabeth for many years before moving to Linden.
Surviving is a brother, Earl Sr. The Nesbitt Funeral Home,
Elizabeth, handled the arrangements.
